About the Event
This year, the Rural Fire Service (RFS) is pleased to advise we will be holding two Volunteer Summits. The first Summit will be held in Far Northern Region at the Pullman Cairns International Hotel from Friday 16 June to Sunday 18 June 2023. The second event will be held in North Coast Region at the Novotel Twin Waters/Sunshine Coast Convention Centre from Friday 30 June to Sunday 2 July 2023.  Volunteers from Townsville, North West (formerly Charters Towers), Far Northern – Northern (formerly Cairns), Far Northern – Southern (formerly Innisfail), Mackay, Emerald/Barcaldine, Rockhampton and Gladstone are eligible to express their interest in attending the Far Northern Region event.  Volunteers from Caboolture, West Moreton, South Coast, Darling Downs, Western Rivers, Roma, Caloundra, Maryborough, Burnett and Bundaberg are eligible to express their interest in attending the North Coast Region event.
